Troy Glow 2024

About this event

Produced by the Arts Center of the Capital Region, Troy Glow 2024 is a dazzling 10-day festival that will light up downtown Troy, November 1st to 10th, 2024.

Visitors can experience multiple light art installations in a walkable route through Troy’s historic streets. You can explore on your own or come to our three festival events and join guided tours.

Organized around the end of Daylight Savings Time, Troy Glow cheerfully welcomes winter’s darkness and provides a platform for visitors to enjoy beautiful public art and all Troy has to offer!

Projects will be lit nightly from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. November 1st – 10th. Projects can be viewed anytime during these hours. Sunset is around 4:45 p.m. this time of year and twilight lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Friday, Nov. 1st:

• 5-9pm
• Opening Night Reception
• The Tavern Bar, 217 Broadway

Let’s kick off Troy Glow 2024! Come toast the region’s largest light festival at the opening reception. Cash bar + refreshments.

Free tours of Glow installations every hour on the hour from 6-8pm. Meet outside the Tavern.

Sunday, Nov. 3rd:

• 4-8pm
• Block Party
• Franklin Alley, between River St. + Broadway

Family-friendly block party with food and beverage vendors, live entertainment and arts activities culminating in a light parade through Glow installations at 7pm.

Free tours of Glow installations every hour on the hour from 5-8pm. Meet at corner of Broadway + Franklin St.

Saturday, Nov. 9th:

• 4-8pm
• Troyful Glow: Downtown Stroll
• Check in at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Box Office, 30 Second St.

Local businesses will be activated with live music and art! Visit Glow while enjoying all downtown Troy has to offer. Presented by the Downtown Troy BID. Free tours of Glow installations every hour on the hour from 5-8pm. Meet at 30 Second St.

Free Tours Each Night

On nights without public events, a tour will be offered at 6:00pm (11/2, 11/4-11/8, and 11/10). Tours will leave promptly from the Arts Center of the Capital Region, 265 River St.
